HomeCare Service Discontinued on Deco P7 and Deco HX20

As of September 30, 2025, the HomeCare service provided on Deco P7 and Deco HX20 will be permanently discontinued. While the Deco P7 and HX20 devices remain functional, the Security, Parental Controls and QoS features provided by HomeCare will no longer be available.

What happens to my data?

All HomeCare-related data is processed and stored only on your Deco device. TP-Link does not collect or retain this data. For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.

You can delete your HomeCare-related data in the following ways:

  • Security event records can be deleted by using Clear History in the Deco App.
  • Parental Controls data can be deleted by removing the corresponding Profile.
  • All HomeCare-related data can be deleted by performing a factory reset on your Deco device.

For continued access to protection and parental controls, we recommend upgrading to the latest Deco models with TP-Link HomeShield.
