How to share network on Tether App - TP-Link Service Provider

This article applies to the products that are compatible with Tether App:

When you don't know your network name and password but want to share your network access with friends and family using the Tether App, you could refer to the following guide.

Take Archer AX55 as an example.

Step 1: Open the Tether App and go to More > WiFi-Settings.

Display the Wi-Fi settings position in the app.

Step 2: Click the Share button on the WiFi-Settings page.

Locate the Share button in the center of the page.

Step 3: You can choose the method on the page to share your network name and password with friends and family.

Show the network sharing options, including sharing via the WeChat app, mail, messages, or just copying.

Note:

Some features in the Tether App may vary by model. Some models can support scanning the QR code on the Tether App to share access to your network instead of giving friends and families your network name and password.

Take RE450 as an example:

Step 1: Open the Tether App and go to Tools > Share Wi-Fi.

Locate the Share button in the center of the page.

Step 2: Click the QR code icon on the page to share your network name and password with friends and family.

Display the QR code position in the app. Display the QR code page when clicking on the Share button.
